Aristocrats behaving questionably will make it into The Hawk’s Eye scandal sheets in Eva Leigh’s first book of The Wicked Quills of London series, “Forever Your Earl.”
Daniel Balfour, the Earl of Ashford, charged into the Hawk’s Eye offices demanding to see the man behind the paper. However, Eleanor Hawk let Ashford know she was the editor of the business.
Ashford complained that the articles about him were inaccurate. Eleanor takes pride in her resources being reliable. In order to prove his point, Ashford invites Eleanor on his escapades. What Eleanor does not know is that Ashford uses scandal to distract from his true goal. The first outing has Eleanor dressing as a man and as they attend various events, the attractions grows but they are still of different social class.
